I agree, and I would add that "experiences" sell best. Items such as 'Guest DJ with Murphy & Denise': Tour of TV station with on air personality; Golf with________: Character named after someone in an upcoming novel or TV show.
These are relatively easy to get and can't be valued, so they can go sky high sometimes.

Wouldn't it be safer for ALL concerned if, instead of valet parking, they provided "coupons" for cab fare (even round trip) up to a specified amount? Or are they naive enough to believe that folks paying $150 are going to "drink responsibly" or bring a designated driver who only drinks soft drinks or coffee or tea?

I'm pretty sure you and I aren't watching the same show then. Anyone who jumps into the middle of a GROUP activity and says, "We're doing this my way and that's it!" is not my idea of a fun person. His pathetic excuse for a falsetto during Broken Strings would have made me feel sorry for him if he hadn't been such a jerk to the other guys. He is the definition of arrogant and I am so glad to know he doesn't make the top 24. If he'd have made it I would have stopped watching.

I dont know Richie, but I have been watching him on Idol, and anyone who says he is arrogant need to lighten up, he is the kind of the person that makes the show worth watching, and actually seems like a nice person with an amazing voice

Richie Law is one of the most self-centred,aggrivating,contestants to EVER get his way onto AMERICAN IDOL!He is PITCHY,he is arrogent,he is unlikeable!Everyone he comes into contact with he pisses off,and it is obvious he is one of the most disliked individuals to ever compete on AMERICAN IDOL!.The sooner he gets the "BOOT",and sent home the better.If he is kept around much longer,my family,and I will quit watching!.

He's not an arrogant jerk. NoToCowboy, you are misinformed. He is kind and wonderful. I have a disabled child. Richie has performed at no less than 10 charity events for our foundation. I can't imagine why American Idol is doing this to him unless it's to keep him from diluting their gold mine, Scotty. Richie is well known in the Denver area and his music will make him a star. Shame on American Idol

I dont feel like i should be forced to have health insurance, I think everyone would like to have health insurance if they could afford it. If you need affordable health insurance search online "Penny Medical" or you dont want to be with out insurance any time.

Wow, yes. I can sleep tonight. Monica Owens has started her own public affairs company. So, the great American tradition is riding former Governor Bill Owens name and money. Some fun inside reporting by Jacob, Monica was gently pushed out of the Starboard Group because her 'extensive political connections' and 'amazing fundraising skills' were fake and misguided.

Think of the things this girl could actually be doing with her daddy's last name. Another inside tidbit, she has worked as a glorified admin for her fathers former staffers (Sean Tonner at Phaseline and Katie Benhke with Starboard). How entrepreneurial, really? What is her business address, possibly located in the same office/suite as one of her dads companies?

Our friends in the media, how long are you going to cover this type of bogus and TMZ quality enlightenment? We all appreciate and respect the Denver Posts' political insights and coverage. We enjoy reading the hard work of its staff because it is good reporting and refreshing for everyday Coloradans. However, in the current times and financial heartache for many Coloradans, some in-depth coverage of the upcoming legislative session, misuse of tax payer funds or local economic situations would be welcomed.

Are their not other young political or civic professionals in our community that we could rally around to bring positive and lasting change? Maybe a true leader that has accomplished something real and tangible for our community instead of a phony wine sipping sorority girl who only benefits the community by being in the media via nonprofit galas, benefits and any other type of function that has a camera, not a Saturday volunteer project with a trash bag or assisting less privileged individuals in our streets and schools.

Please take a minute to read the following about someone who has overcome adversity, challenged the status quo and become a leader with out one helping hand from her humble beginnings in white suburbia and her fathers accomplishments as Governor. This was an amazing and extremely moving event. Jay's Valet is happy to have had the opporunity to participate with this year's Be Beautiful Be Yourself Jet Set Fashion Show and be able to show our support. This event wasn't about the celebrities, but about those most effected by down syndrome. It's such a beautiful event for one of the least supported organizations. Big thank you to the Global Down Syndrome Foundation and all of the 1,200 guests in attendance, we look forward to seeing you all again next year!

George and I saw Gladys in Las Vegas and she had an amazing amount of energy and we couldn't help but leave her show with smiles on our faces! For those who can't make it to D.C,.
